Jerez de la Frontera está situada a mitad de camino entre Cádiz y Sevilla, a escasos kilómetros del mar y de la sierra, donde la tierra es ideal para cultivar los viñedos que producen los mundialmente famosos Vinos de Jerez, el sherry y el brandy. El origen de la ciudad se remonta a la ocupación árabe, con la denominación "de la Frontera" referente a su estado fronterizo entre los reinos cristiano y musulmán. Sus bodegas y la gastronomía son sólo dos buenas razones para visitar Jerez, junto a su rica historia, sus tradiciones y fiestas. La ciudad es igualmente famosa por el caballo andaluz y por los excitantes espectáculos ecuestres, el flamenco y las competiciones de motor en el Circuito de Jerez.
